Glad to hear that everyone had such a wonderful time. I had no doubt that you would. Good to hear they all looked well & were having a good time as well. Cool seeing Sela Ward. I have always enjoyed her work.

    here we go......

suprisingly we only hit traffic at the outlits as you enter the city so we arrived early to the HRC...and parked it at the bar waiting for our party to arrive.

I tried to keep a look out at the check in desk, not sure if the reservation was in my "border or real name". (my friend is a mgr and made the arrangments) the funny side point here is the young guy who was sitting close by and heard the conversation between myself and the bartender Cherish, asked if TT was my stripper name?? well to which I replied with the whole border explanation. but thanks for the compament I think?? and your service to our country.
Then , I caught sight of Soda walking through the door (in her high high heeled shoes), with Dreamer and Zelda with her. We all had a great time greating and eating at the HRC with my bettler half JAHH too. Shout out ---thanks HRC AC for such a warm welcome!!!!

THen we arrived at the revel...what a beautiful hotel. The beach up that end isnt very developed just beautiul rocks and dunes and sand and ocean. (hope it stays that way...hint hint) I braved the hugh 5 story open with ocean views escaltor surrounded by a kind Revel employee and Soda by my side. I"d like to say I enjoyed the view but my eyes were glued shut with a death grip on the railing with Sodas words of reasurances and guidence as to when I could open my eyes to step off.(THANKS SODA)
JAHH and I had to get our tix at will call after a walk through the casino floor ...but the escaltor to the venue was right outside the box office..(great design job) A quick expensive stop at the merchandise table I was good too go.
(Hey I could drop dead tomorrow and I wanna be outfitted in my Eagles 2012 tour t shirt)

The venue is really intresting. It was done by the people who did Ceasers in Vegas and done right, no blocked views inless you have ANdre the giant in front of you like I did , but thankfully he sat for most of the concert) We found our seats and JAHH kept in touch with SOda and I with VA(god bless texting), we were in same section .(Note ..everytime there was a JOe song...VA shot up like a jack in the box and boggied)

Sorry to say I really didnt pay as close attention to JD's band as I shudda...I was too busy taking in the new venue around me and too excited for what was to follow them. Note...the base player was Zev KAtz...formerly with HAll and OAtes,LIve from Daryls house and part of the ensamble of musicians who do the Kennedy Center honors show at xmas time,so when JD announced u could have a free cd out next to the merchandise table, I took a walk. Guess I gotta listen to it at somepoint...I came away with three cds.lol

Well for the main attraction.....our boys opened with 7 bridges...beautiful. I have never seen it done live so for me it was extra icing on my Gluten free cake. Then they went right in to "HOw LOng"...which got everyone up on their feet. (sorry the song just makes me fell happy when I hear it.)

For the complete set list you can reference JAHH's review which will post later.....he keeps track.....I"m too busy taking in the boys and DANCING.I liked their clothes..comfortable but not so uniformy like LROOE.

Joe looked fab, fit, trim and healthy (thank you MArjory...family life must agree with him) He had on black shirt , pants and jacket. He had a guitar arsnel, I lost count of how many. And he was right in front of me.
JOe is always a quality entertainor but he was spot on last night and in high quality form. He had Stueart SMith to his right , who also looked fit and happy and played fab as well. I loved the fist bumps between those too last night. I also will say here that I think he is under rated as a guitar player. This man has amazing talent and was kind to JAHH and I when we had the pleasure of meeting him at the Borgata in 08. I have a picture with him and he signed my cd...couldnt have been nicer.) Glad he is part of the band.(my opinion...sorry felder fans).

For my border pal Stepuk, your "guy" Will looked awsome last night. Big smile on his face all night. He was right in front of me behind Joe and Stueart.ANother exclent Will performance.

GLENN---looked great. Tight jeans, nice white shirt and a lighter colored button down overshirt and my fav accessory with his tight jeans, his guitar.
(made my night!!! Not to say he didnt look great in a suit during the after hours tour....but jeans are always my fav way for him to dress...humor me)

TBs looked great too smiling and waving at everyone. I love his signature bow with his bass after he sings" I cant tell you why" . I find it is something I have come to look forward too when I see him . I will state here that I think some people feel he is the understated member of the band. But there is something to be stated for rock steady. Here is a man(my opinion again folks) that he is a happy camper as long as he is playing music. He has done so much in his career apart and aside from the eagles. I also gotta say I really enjoyed his solo show in May and really love "white boy from Sacarmento", which I guess describes him to a tee.(hi Zelda did I covery Tim correctly?)Also, if you havent heard him sing Ella Jean, the song he wrote for his wife when she was away and he missed her...its so romantic.

    Don Henley...

What can I say. The best line he said was" if we knew 40 years ago , we would still be around, we might have taken better care of ourselves". SO true for all of us. ANyway, he like the others, I think are greatful that they are still around. His singing was great as was his drumming...after all he is DOn Henley (right HH ?? ) but I gotta say I am not a fan of the goat...not my thing. He is a brilliant performer and musician and has such a way with words. He looked handsome in his jeans, white shirt and black vest.He was not a happy camper about the dude right in front of him with the cam corder recording. I mean get a grip people....we are all there to enjoy the moment and it is rude to do what he tried to do. DH saw him and called for "JD" a reference to security to stop and I got a feeling he wasnt gonna continue till he was stopped and or thrown out. DH then gave a talk about "If we wanted to put ourselves on YOu tube we would have done it ourselves" and Copy right infingment etc. to which at that point Glenn lightened the mood with something about not letting his kids take pictures of him around the house. (JAHH can fill in the details better later..thats his job...he's the detail guy in our partnership..I'm the fly by the seat of my pants wanna have fun kinda gal enjoying the show)

I was suprised by the enclusion of Witchy Woman. Last time I think they did that was when I saw Dh solo. (sorry again people...not my fav Eagles song. But remember thats why we have choices like in ice cream..some like choclate and some like vanilla.)

JHAA and I were talking that if you take in to account that they didnt take a 1/2 hour intermission, it really was a long concert. MAking it a 3 hour or over concert by taking an intermission ...I'd rather they played like last night strainght through.

But soapbox time....I realize that the venue makes money on drink sales. but drunks arent my thing nor having your pocketbook or other personal things soaked in beer(right Soda and HH). I was in the middle of groving to Hotel Calif when this "perosn"( and I am being nice) decided she had to go get drinks. I mean ...who leaves and gets beverage in the middle of and Eagles concet let alone HC??? Right???) You would think for what we paid per seat....you would wanna stay parked there unless you are up dancing, right?

Oh well, sure I left things out. SOrry if I did, but I had a blast.
Band was great. music was great!!!
    Venue and hotel was beautiful

I so enjoyed seeing our guys and spending time with Soda, HH, VA , Dreamer and Zelda and of course my other half JAHH.
    Its just a wonderful expierence.

Oh and the icing on the gluten free cake was Sela Ward, actess from CSI ny and movies. what a classy gentile lady. Who was kind enough to take time away from her hubby and her evening out to take a picture with me then said to her hubby "Honey take a picture with them both please". Which made JAHH's night, I apoligized to her hubby about interupting their evening and he said we didnt and couldnt have been nicer. Meanwhile his wife was being as equally warm hearted to my hubby.CLass act people.

Ok, had a LONg wonderful day didnt pull in to the driveway till after 300am so with this I will finally shut up and go take a long happy nap with sweet eagles dreams.

Great review TT. Pleased you had a good night.

Thanks for your comment about Will. He is pure quality - both musically and in looks!

The Eagles DO have strong feeling about videos, and that is understandable, but I still don't see the problem with photos; as long as they are taken without flash, which I appreciate is a disturbance to the band especially from cameras in the front rows; and as long as people are not using professional cameras to take photos to sell.

Shame they've cut out the songs from LROOE which they used to do - but I guess you can't have everything. Whatever songs they do it's still a great show, and it sounds like they were in good spirits last night, which also makes for a good show.

I agree about Don's goatie beard - I think he looks better clean-shaven.

Anyway, you had fun (and I'm still jealous).

Look forward to reading JAHH's review too.

    Thanks Steph,

I too miss LROOE songs but I guess they count "How long " to cover them there. I do enjoy that song and they looked happy doing that.

Wish we could have been there tonight too but going last night was a financial stetch and I count it as my "vacation" for this year. You know...
vacation in the beautiful isle of Eagles...swim in the beautiful blue pool of Wills eyes".lol (You get the point Steph.)

I have to remember to always look at my half full glass and am thankful for getting to go.

How about the "beautiful blue pool of Glenn's eyes"? Or Don's? Or Joe's?
