Oddly enough, I don't remember gripping you so hard. I guess next time I'll have to grip harder so I remember it!! But yes, just thinking of those escalators now still has me shaking a bit. The weak-kneed reaction from seeing a certainly blue-eyed guitar player is far, far preferable to the 'I'm going to pass out' reaction of those escalators.

Just wait until Dreamer gets to experience being around me on the escalators in the B terminal at Dulles in November.

I still can't believe there's enough alcohol in the world for anyone to think they can ride the handrail. I hope the poor guy pulls through this OK.

I'm sure you remember me telling you to "Man Up, Mary" as you were crushing my arm. That was my "mother Teresa" instinct kicking in -- or was it self-preservation instinct?

I had the easiest time getting there. Parked on the 6th floor of the parking garage. Walked in the casino, made a left, walked maybe 250 feet and there was Ovation Hall. I would have liked to explore the casino more, but I was worn out from bopping around and singing at the concert. I have zero interest in gambling anyway.

I do remember "Man up, Mary." Believe me, showing me any sympathy would have had me reduced to a mass of shaking incoherent-ness. You did the right thing.

We stayed there and used valet parking. So we walked in at nearly ground level and saw a nice lobby and looked for a place to check in. No, can't do that there. Need to go up four flights but there's nothing telling you that. I looked at the escalators and was grateful when Soda went to the elevators. Then you have to walk for what felt like forever to get to where you check in. Then we had to ask where the elevators to the rooms were. It was all very confusing but we eventually found our way around.

Oh crap - I guess I'll need to wear arm pads. But, I'm like HH - I've got your back, VA. I'll try not to be a selfish beeotch.
