Yes! Lots of food and that's always good. And good to see my relatives and such. And tonight's concert (which was a birthday gift) was killer so definitely a great birthday!!

'EVERYONE deserves to have a special birthday. I am glad that yours was as special as I am sure you are.

In my life...physical gifts are nice but the older I get...I think the best gifts are the ones that create a memory in our minds and hearts to last our life time.

Funny that you say that TT. Troub and I were chatting earlier today on whatsapp (brilliant chat app). I was commenting that I have already seen Christmas gifts and food on sale. But we were both saying that its the time to chill and relax with our families and friends that means more to us than the gifts.

    GA--

I love toshop ...dont get me wrong....but there is only so much stuff you can have.

I love to look at the memory books of all the concerts that JAhh and I have gone too.
It makes me feel warm and fuzzy when I look back and see all our memeories.

The one mistake I made when my son was little was to think that you had to have lots under the tree from santa. It should have been you get one special gift from him and the rest from mom and dad. I had to teach him that santa had a budget(lol) and even thought some people made more money, santa kept it fair and everyone got the same. (crazy ??)I"ll never forget the time he said.."OOH Look Santa shops at CLover" since I missed a price tag and he found the distint one from that store.)

I still look back and enjoy the funroad trip we took one chiristmas week when we were off to Baltimore just to go and have dinner at the hard rock...playing the beatles all the way up and back and singing at the top of our lungs.
Or last year whenwe went to the beach and the first day of winter was sunny and 65 degrees and we walked the beach hand and hand...that was a gift from god.

I love in our family...everyone falls in at my sister in laws at all times of the day and nite. They are a blended family(kids from first marriages each) so its fun to sit there over coffee and spend time together and its a revolving door of people coming to say hi) .

Memories.....thats what keeps me warm in my heart and mind
