I was just playing Rock and Roll Jeopardy online and my final Jeopardy question was This Eagles album was considered to be made into a film. Thanks to this board the answer was easy
Any kind of love without passion
That ain't no kind of lovin' at all
Listening to 97.1 The Drive out of Chicago. Just heard an ad for 10 at 10. 10 songs in a row from a certain year. This morning it will be 1972 and the promo spot just said "and the Eagles were just feeling it" and then they played a snippet of PEF!! Guess I better still be listening to it at 11 my time.

I wasn't sure where to post this, since in the thread where the game is played seems like it might get lost. We have turned "The Never-Ending Song Game" both into a car travel game, and better yet, into a party game for all ages! The first time we used it as a verbal game was in the car on a longer family road trip. It was played the same way we do online here, and it was interesting because we have the 2 oldster parents and the 2 preteen/teen boys who obviously love current music but have a decent knowledge and appreciation for classic rock music from yours truly and hubby. The game really passes the time away, as it fosters communication between family members-- about music and artists, and memories of concerts and the like.
More recently, we adapted the game at a party--at Ethan's 8th grade graduation party, where there were adults as well as kids (11 yrs + ). We started playing the same way it is played online, but then we had to add some alterations. The first change we added was a 30-second time frame for the person's answer of new song and artist. If they don't guess, or offer an incorrect one, they get an "O". The next time they are unable to advance, they collect an "U." And, if that same persons fails a 3rd time, they get an "T", and they are OUT of the game. This game kept folks occupied for quite awhile!

On our shortened trip Saturday, I saw a sign in a small town for a church called Shiloh Church Of Christ.

I've seen a Shiloh sign before too but it wasn't for a church. I think it was for some kind of construction company. I see it every time I drive through the north side of OKC.
After just posting in the Hearing Eagles/solo Songs Unexpectedly thread I remembered that I heard another Eagles song at work this week. Heartache Tonight was playing. As I was singing along, one of the players at my table said "How do you know this song? You're too young to know who this is?" I said "Are you kidding me? This is my favorite band!!" I proceeded to tell the guy about the recent concerts I went to an he seemed impressed. I asked him his name and he said it's "Glenn". There was another guy at the table that was all ticked off and being rude because he was mad that he was losing his money. Me and Glenn just ignored him. Glenn was a really nice guy. And his name made it all the more fun to be dealing to him.
