Yesterday we were at 'The Hobbit'. At one stage Thorin Oakenshield commented 'The Eagles are coming'

To which I whispered 'I wish'!

I have a couple from the last few days:

1) I was pruning some deadheads in the garden earlier this week and could not help but think of the Cadillac sticker from Boys Of Summer.

2) Last night my parents were watching a documentary about Meat Loaf which showed some of his scenes from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which included the song with the lyrics 'Whatever happened to Saturday night'.

To add to what GA mentioned earlier, there's another line in The Hobbit 3 (which I just saw last night) that qualifies:

As a certain character lies gravely wounded in Bilbo's arms, near death, Bilbo tries to encourage him to keep fighting for life by telling him that help has arrived: "Hold on! The eagles are here!"

As I watched it, I thought, Well, that line would give me a second wind for sure.
