It is just a bit of fun, unlike the majority of the After Hours album. I hope that he will continue to play the revamped Heat Is On but I don't expect him to ever record it.

I think you're right about that FP.

First of all, I want to clarify what I said earlier about 6 or 7 songs on this album all kind of sounding the same. I realize the album may not have the same effect on everyone, but I have always preferred albums that have a lot of variety - I like different tempos, different themes, and, yes, even different voices. It helps keep my interest. I have always said that one of the main reasons that I became such a huge Eagles fan is because you can listen to any of their albums and it doesn't sound like the same song over and over. In the case of After Hours, I just prefer the songs in isolation rather than listening to them all together because the differences in them are too subtle, not blatant as I prefer. I feel somewhat the same way when I listen to Don's Inside Job album. Sorry, but that just the way I roll.

Anyway, I'll go ahead and vote now since I probably won't change my mind at this point. I'll vote for my least favorite song on the album ...

I cast my vote for I'm Getting Old Before My Time.

I haven't had much time lately, but if it's okay, I'm going to jump in and vote for I'm Getting Old Before My Time.

I love My Buddy! I remember listening to it in Jess's car in Oklahoma and saying "no one writes lyrics like that anymore." It's such a sweet song.

Regarding My Buddy I had thought 'this will make people cringe somewhat' so I'm pleasantly surprised to see the affection for it that some people are showing. It will make me rethink it again, which I have already done several times. I constantly rethink every song on the album.

Actually he said either in an interview or at a show that it was so well-received by the audience he's considering recording it.

I do remember that now. It would be interesting if he did!
