Well it looks like though 'My Buddy' survived the last round by a hairs breath nothing is going to save it this time! So I think I'll stick with my original Round 1 selection and vote off 'Worried Mind'. It won't matter this round but may later on.

Well - it looks like My Buddy will go down without any help from me. I did want to say something about A Worried Mind. As most of you know, I'm not a big fan of country music, but I really like this song a lot. I love Glenn's vocals of course, but it is actually the music in this song that sells it for me. Michael Thompson has many very fine moments on the CD, but his piano solo in the bridge of this song is one of the highlights of the entire CD for me - it is simply outstanding.

And now for the voting - I guess I'll vote for the future as well ...

I cast my vote for Caroline, No.

I cast my vote for The Good Life.

Glenn sings it superbly - especially the "wonder why" bit. However, the ending lyrics only seem to make sense if the term "the good life" is read ironically, yet Glenn's vocals display no trace of irony. Thus, in my confusion, this song falls down my list despite the great delivery.

I completely agree with these comments. However it is such a great performance that I can't let it go yet, and hence I vote for Worried Mind. I like this a lot, and saw it live (and may do again!) but I like other songs better.
