    Default FENDER

I think, Don Felder is my favourite Eagle, because he play Lead Guitar,
so I open this topic for talking about Fender, Not only because I prefer Fender to the others Guitars, but because the Eagles always use Fender.
    So.......

I'm a big fan of Fender guitars as well. The bass I want to save up and get is a Fender Jazz bass. I'd love to get one of the FJ's like Tim has, but they're a little out of my price range

I'd also like to get a Fender Tele and Strat......but those'll have to wait.

but my favorite acoustic/electric is a Gibson Chet Atkins SST is black

I am sorry to be pedantic here, but the Eagles also use Gibsons, and when they play acoustic, they use Takamine. Both Frey and Walsh also play Rickenbackers.

I forgot about the Telecoustic and Stratacoustic. They look really interesting, but I've never seen them in a music store around here to try out. Definently interesting though.

I like all of the electrics you posted, but one of my fav.'s is the Aerodyne Classic Stratocaster. Very nice guitar!

    Freypower,

I know about the Rickenbacker GF 230, is the "Slide Guitar" of Joe Walsh.
About Gibson they have a lot of Gibson Les Paul. About acoustic Henley & Frey have Takamine, but Walsh have the Gibson Jumbo. I think Don Felder have a Gibson or a Fender, but not a Takamine. The song with Felder with an acoustic are Peaceful Easy Feeling & Heart Of The Matter, from HFO and The Sad Café.
Where can I buy Rickenbacker GF 230??

Timothy may use mainly the Fender Jazz bass now but for many years (1991-2003/4), his main bass was a Carvin bass specially made for him by Carvin. Since that time Carvin has turned his "one of a kind" bass into a line of basses and Timothy is one of Carvin's spokespeople.

Surely Felder's guitar in the HFO version of Hotel California is acoustic?

Frey uses a Gibson Les Paul but also a Sunburst. In fact when he plays solo shows he seems to have given up using the Les Paul.

I am not a musician so I am afraid I can't answer your question.
