Eagles doing NYC show Nov15th

I had seen a tweet weeks and weeks ago about something in NYC involving the Beacon Theater and couldn't find anything, so I ignored it. Still, after paying big bucks for a ticket to Vegas plus airfare and hotel, I can't justify the cost of this for a one hour setlist and not-so-good seats. Especially since I don't know for sure that Amtrak/Acela will be fully operational by then.

I would love to go and two weeks ago this would have been do-able. I know if I ask my boss, he'd give me the time off, but in reality, it would create a lot of problems for a lot of people. Plus, I'm planning on going to PA for Thanksgiving week (working from there) and if I don't go to Fort Belvoir end of next week, I'll have to do it the next week and miss staying with my sister. If I knew for sure what day I'm scheduled to go to Belvoir, this would be easier, but I won't know until a day before.

Yeah, while it would be cool to go - and I'm sure you'll have a terrific time, TK! - I imagine it will be a short set and if you're already set to go to Vegas, it probably isn't worth all the extra bother and expense, especially with things so chaotic in New York right now (although this is still a couple weeks away).

Most of the city is back to normal. The trains are running, everything here is open. It is a few areas near the water that are still in bad shape.

I am going because I live here & it's easy for me to get to this place. It says it will be a 1 hour show, so yes it will be short. It's a nice surprise for me to get to see them on this short notice, so for me it's worth it, because I may not make the Vegas show. I don't want to spend $2000. & have to sit in a crappy seat. Plus the flight there for me is a headache. I get a headache just thinking about it!

On Ticketmaster Search NYU Gala. There are still tickets there @ 220.00
The link HH put up says it is Sold out.
I just went in & Row S tickets came up in the Orchestra.

No. The link says the after party tickets are sold out. Concert tickets are still available. Look on the right side of the page.

Basically the Eagles are getting an award as well as performing!

I want to know what Festive Business Attire is. Maybe it's the day I've had, but there's nothing festive about business attire IMO.
