As much as I love OOTN - it sure is one of my favourite songs ever - I have to go with Lyin' Eyes now. I LOVE all the live recordings, and it was a treat to see Glenn sing all these verses, whenever I got to go to an Eagles concert

So my vote goes for Lyin' Eyes.

OK Picture this. Its 1975. A group of young rockstars are hanging out in the Troubador Bar chatting, having a few beers eyeing the 'talent' and generally having a good time. In comes a young pretty girl on the arm of a much older man. As soon as the man is distracted, the young lady takes a look around to see what menfolk are there, prompting the more outspoken of those lads to comment 'Look at her Lyin' Eyes' Thus spawned one of the greatest and best songs ever written (IMHO anyway).

So Plaintiff, if you're out there please take note:

I guess One Of These Nights has no chance to win.

Even if I love LE OOTN was one of the first songs I heard from the Eagles and I always loved it.

So, I cast my vote for One Of These Nights.

I have to say I'm really shocked that Lyin' Eyes is winning so far. I really thought from previous voting that One of These Nights would take it! It made it to #1 and was on the charts for 14 weeks!

Well, this has certainly been an entertaining Survivor game. I actually wanted and thought that Take It To the Limit would win this and Lyin' Eyes would come in 2nd. But that shows what I know. Even though I think TITTL and OOTN are both great songs, to be honest, I think Lyin' Eyes deserves the win here. IMHO, it is the best song on the album. It has everything - exceptional lyrics, melodies, and harmonies along with Glenn's gorgeous delivery (not to mention a Grammy, as FP noted). Therefore, with all due respect to the fabulous TITTL and the awesome OOTN ...
