I had such a wonderful time meeting you guys too !! Henley Honey also was thoughtful enough to text me today when Metallica's BTM was on !! Don is a wonderful singer, and it's always nice to see him when he does solo shows. And yes, TT, I yelled "WHAT !!" really loudly when I heard the first notes of Sunset Grill !! Definitely a special treat !!

I wanted to check in to let everyone know I arrived back home safely last night in spite of having to drive through a snow storm about 2/3s of the way home from VA's house. Fortunately, since it hadn't been snowing too long when I passed through it, the roads hadn't had a chance to get too bad, but it did add an extra 45 minutes to my trip. But anyway, enough of the crappy winter weather. I was going to post when I got home last night, but I couldn't get on the board because of another one of those dreaded database errors. Today I have to get ready for Super Bowl festivities, so I have to keep my comments brief for now.

Like everyone, I thought Don was absolutely wonderful. I loved everything he did except I'm personally not that crazy about Everything Is Different Now - I remember thinking to myself "Don, you coulda stuck Taking You Home in here in place of that". But, the Last Worthless Evening and It Don't Matter to the Sun were so melt-worthy that I forgave him. I had a blast meeting up with VA, HH, Jess, TT, and JAHH and laughed until I hurt. And Witchy Woman - I enjoyed meeting and chatting with you and your friend. I always love meeting new Borderers - particularly when they're so nice!

I moved over the relevant posts from the pre-concert thread to this one, just to keep them all together.
