Congrats on your new little one!

On Friday, my cat seemed to be in pain. I thought it was his arthritis and I gave him a little pain medicine prescribed by the vet. It helped and he is no longer limping or crying, but he's barely eaten all weekend and hasn't used his litter box (or gone anywhere else) and has done nothing but lie on my bed at night and my couch during the day. He loathes the vet here and goes ballistic to the point of having to be sedated when we visit, but I will take him anyway if this keeps up.

Sorry to hear that, Soda. Keep an eye on his litter box, you want to make sure he doesn't have a blockage - you would know b/c he would be really miserable. Good luck. Did you have house guests? Maybe that threw him off?...

Yes - my parents were here all week and it's not unusual for him to eat less when stressed. Although he's used to my parents, he was displaced from his spot on my bed (my mother gets my bed when they visit) and his spot on the couch (dad gets the couch because my bed hurts his back). We spent a lot of time hanging curtains and pictures which meant a lot of noise. However, they went home Saturday morning and he still hasn't bounced back. I'll keep watching him and keep you guys updated.

Soda, I'm sorry Milton isn't feeling well. If he hasn't used the litter box by now I think you should take him to the vet immediately. When my previous cat, Sparky, had a urinary tract infection/blockage he howled. And he didn't survive the procedure.......

Soda - I sure hope Milton is doing better. But, I agree, if he's not, you need to go ahead and take him to the vet ASAP.

And just want to wish my precious little Smuggler a Happy 3rd Birthday. As some of you may already know, he's a St. Patrick's Day pup so he will always have the luck of the Irish with him. Like I did last year, I'm posting a few pictures to show how much he's changed since he was a baby ...
