Both PM and TBF seem to be in the midst of some severe weather currently and with tornado watches in the forecast. Here's hoping they stay safe!
ETA: WalshFan88 is being hit with tornadoes near where he lives and now here there's a tornado watch until 10pm. Went out at halftime and nearly got blown off my feet.

I just read that central Illinois near Peoria got hit. Hope everyone is safe!
Very windy here yesterday and today and nice-68 F! A few sprinkles but that's it.

I thought of texting Austin last night as I was going to bed and hated to try that late. I see he has posted on Fb, this morning, so he must be ok! I'm sure he was very near to some of these awful winds.
Yesterday afternoon my husband and son decided to go deer hunting as the winds had died down quite a lot. It had been a terrible weekend for hunting with the high winds. For those of you that don't know, they put tree stands up and sit in them for 3-4 hours of a morning and evening. High winds just don't make it enjoyable at all! They went Saturday morning and then didn't go Saturday evening or Sunday morning because of the wind. It subsided last evening so they went. It even got very still and quiet about 5 pm. Well, just before dark the wind picked up all of a sudden and the sky turned black. I was in the kitchen and heard it start blowing and went outside on the deck to take a look. There were very bad looking clouds moving across the sky and even a funny, foggy look to them. I hoped the guys had gotten down from their stands and were coming in, but even that is dangerous to do with limbs falling in the woods. All of a sudden there was my son and he asked if Dad made it in yet. No. We waited a couple minutes and then he came out of the woods. He said he was the most terrified he had ever been! As he was climbing down from his stand the wind began to roar. He called our son and told him to get in a ditch, he thought there was a tornado coming. Then it turned black and he couldn't see anything at all. He was disoriented and couldn't figure out which way to go or find a ditch to lay down in. He thought he was headed home and finally just ran as fast as he possibly could through brush and trees, carrying a rifle and in bulky hunting clothes trying to get home and finally made it! He thinks he was under a tornado, but there was no real damage around him. Just the awful sound and wind. Thankfully, both of them made it ok! Very scary!
