We had a few people with no power, but mine only went off and back on again. Roads were icy this morning, had a two hour delay, and once again, the parking lot was a sheet of ice. I wore the appropriate footwear today, my Timberland boots, so I spent a lot of time walking people in and out.

The freezing rain stopped around 10am this morning and it's been snow ever since. Yay.

TT, I hope you & JAHH are finding a warm place to spend the night. My thoughts are with y'all. And our news just said it was now @ 750,000 without power in PA.

I feel so bad for everyone in PA without power...so many people I know back home. Please be safe and find warm shelter if you can.

After losing power for a week after the Halloween 2011 blizzard a few years back, my dad got a generator and it has been worth every penny.

We received 9 inches of snow and I have had 3 glorious snow days. Hoping for a 4th but I would be surprised.

This morning when I got up it was 0 with the wind chill making it feel like

I love the snow days off like a mini vacation but I am so ready to warm up.

OMG - It has definitely been a long, cold winter so far. I really feel for the Borderers here and others in PA. who are without power. Hopefully, you all have fireplaces, generators, or a backup place to stay. It is unbelievable that folks are expected to be without power for a week in these frigid temperatures. Please all of you, stay safe.
