Had some rain yesterday and that has kind of cooled things off. Not a bad day today. It's cloudy, but with sunshine. I'll probably go for a walk later on.

It's only noon and it's already 95 F with a heat index of 105 F. I've gotta mow the grass this afternoon.nope, not happy. Dog days of summer arriving early.
Hey Brooke, I'll trade ya some of that rain for a bit of the heat wave I'm getting.

H-town is looking forward to landfall and hopefully a quick goodbye of Tropical Storm Bill. We have flood advisories until tomorrow afternoon.
It seems like we either have a summer drought or a summer of rain/floods.

90's for last couple of days, and very humid. Made me wish I'd bought that flat iron I'd considered buying last summer. Now, it's storming and the lights keep flashing on and off. It better clear up before the Pirates game, so there's no signal interference...
