Highs in the low 80s all through the rest of the week and weekend. I'll be wearing shorts in November! So much for fall.

We finally got rain yesterday and last night, about an inch total! It was terribly dry and hadn't rained since Sept. 10th and even then we had only a half inch for the whole month of Sept. With all the farming going on dust had covered everything. I hated to even open a window in the house because of the dust. Thanks to you Texans for sending the rain up here! (And I'm sorry you all have had too much!)

Highs in the low 60's and lows in the 40's.....fall! Hubby fired up the wood furnace last night and it was a lovely 78 in the house this morning-way too hot for sleeping! Had to open the bedroom window!

HB We've had rain all week long! But it was a dry hot summer so it's needed. Snow in the mountains already. Makes for a icky Halloween night though.

Now what's left of the hurricane that pounded Texas is knocking on my back door. At leaat 5-6 inches of rain over the next 2 days, with some severe thunderstorms that have some rotation to them. . I don't like this!

I'm going to try to. I'm visiting my nana this afternoon, so I'm out in it somewhat. The worst is still in Alabama, and will hit southwest Georgia about 7 or 8 pm tonight. The main threat is localized flooding. Right now, it's in between a light rain and a downpour. No signs of a thunderstorm yet.
