    Default Eagles Ringtones

Soda - I read on Eagleland that they are considering making some ringtones available. Didn't you tell me that you had made yourself some Eagles ringtones? Is there a way to make them available to others? I'd love to have one.

I'd love to have some too. My ringtone program isn't working right now or I'd have tried to make myself some.

I've got a really basic Nokia, and tried to compose Tequila Sunrise on it, but it wasn't great. I'd love an Eagles ringtone, and have tried to find one on the net without success.

I don't have anything fancy, just some MP3 clips of songs that I snipped using a .wav editor. I uploaded them to my phone using this service: http://www.myringtoneserver.com/ - you get three free downloads as a "trial." I paid the $5 a year fee to be able to do unlimited downloads on "server mode." Anyway, I can upload the ones I have this afternoon when I get back from tutoring, no sweat. I also made myself some Fleetwood Mac ones (I know, great shock, lol). I can put those up too.

My phone has an MP3 player on it, so I can use any song as my ringtone. I chose Poco's Call It Love, and my message tone is Stereophonics Have a Nice Day.

My previous phone was a Nokia 3310 and I had the Star Wars theme tune as my ringtone. Loved it!

My phone doesn't have an MP3 player, but WFR made me 3 ringtones which I can use, Take It Easy, The Last Resort and PEF.

I remember a few weeks ago, when Soda was at my house, she played me the Cingular "New Kid In Town" ring tone and it was soooo bad, I couldn't even tell what song it was supposed to be! I'm glad you got some made for yourself Soda. I might (with some technological assistance ) have to "borrow" a tone or two.

Maybe I can look into polyphonics, but right now, all I have is my MP3 clips. I did try to spruce them up a bit for public consumption. I know there's a lot, but I assign different songs to different groups. You'll notice I lean towards instrumentals - just a personal preference. I could do more if folks want it.

Note: The files are around 150kb or less, with a couple of exceptions, which means that they're not CD quality - but they've gotta be small to fit on that phone! With a few, I made a bigger version and a smaller version for those who have limited memory space. The smaller version is simply done at a lower bitrate, so the quality is less.

Very cool Soda. Thanks for putting these up. Now, I have to decide which one I want to use.
