Talk about bringing back memories......well what I can remember from those days anyway...around the end of May 1973 I was getting ready to graduate from high school and I was visiting The Ohio State University campus in Columbus, OH where I would be going to college in the fall of 1973. We decided to take a road trip to Ohio University in Athens, OH to see the Eagles in concert. While I'm not certain, I seem to remember hearing about Glenn's "unfortunate situation" with law enforcement around that same time.
Congrats on becoming a Border Desperado, NOLA!
Here's another one from the HFO era to help you celebrate ...
"People don't run out of dreams: People just run out of time ..."

I'm counting down to a milestone. I had no idea how to celebrate so I will just do the usual & post a couple of favourites. I realise that some prefer to see 70s photos but this is for me, really.
This was the first photo I saw of them in Q Magazine after Felder was fired. I thought they looked happy.
I'm very fond of this as well.
This is my favourite photo of the band & always will be.
Congrats, FP, on your 20K-post milestone!
This is for you:
ETA: Thanks, Dreamer, for the HFO era photo - gorgeous!

"You thought you would be satisfied, but you never will learn to be still."
I had a big surprise today when I received my current issue of Rolling Stone. On the last page was the 1975 picture of "Our Guys" sitting on the boat. Very nice way to start the day!
That is a nice surpise! I wonder why they had it in there?

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
Possibly to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the original issue that featured one of the boat photos on the cover. I have a copy, and the publication date is 25 September 1975. Since magazines are normally released a month prior, the timing is perfect.
