    Yes I have. I believe I saw it in the video of the HFO video shot in Christchurch, NZ.

    I see the blanket. I'd never noticed it before yesterday so nowI'll be looking whenever there's a clear view of the drums.

    I also have never seen the blanket on the bass drum before, but it's definitely noticeable.

    Back in the day, they use to put stuff in the bass drum. Probably have something to do with sound just like they put a glass in front of the drummers. Some have a glass in front of them and some don't.

    I don't think they do that anymore. They probably made bass drums now that you don't have to put blankets in there.

    The blanket is in Don's bass drum during the entire infamous concert at the Capital Centre in March 1977:

    That's probably where I remember it form. I went looking for other pictures & saw it in use in a Long Run concer too.
