I have an equipment question. In the photo I posted above, it looks like there is a blanket folded against the large drum, just below the mic, presumably to dampen the sound. Has anyone seen that in other photos?

Yes I have. I believe I saw it in the video of the HFO video shot in Christchurch, NZ.

I did read in a book he was the tallest at like 6.2".

AG, I bought that medium OTB shirt. I really have to stop - I have like 6 Eagles shirts now, it's outta control.

I only have the Cass County shirt. I'm probably gonna buy an Eagles one as a Christmas gift for myself.


I also have never seen the blanket on the bass drum before, but it's definitely noticeable.

Back in the day, they use to put stuff in the bass drum. Probably have something to do with sound just like they put a glass in front of the drummers. Some have a glass in front of them and some don't.

I don't think they do that anymore. They probably made bass drums now that you don't have to put blankets in there.

That's probably where I remember it form. I went looking for other pictures & saw it in use in a Long Run concer too.
