Randy had such a baby face. And yes, his eyes really are beautiful. Even not smiling, he usually had a sweet expression. Makes me want to hug him.

Correction on the locale of said photo: apparently it was Portland, Maine not Portland, Oregon. The Unofficial Randy Meisner fanpage says according to the producer (promoter?), Art Piteau, the University of Maine UMP-G (now USM) brought the Eagles to the Portland Expo in April 1974. He remembers "The Eagles headlined over Mountain (which really ticked off Leslie West and Felix Pappalardi) and the concert opened with a NH band - Jon Perrault & Friends."
The admin also found another new-to-us photo from that show, taken by Greg Jordan.

There are more onstage photos of the guys in their matching shirts. Too cool! The band was paid $5,000 for their appearance and tickets were $5.
