I'm sure all of these have probably been posted at one time or another, but I love this one of Randy -- he looks so relaxed and happy. Don is smoldering.

And then, just as I suspected, SOMEONE has really big feet....

Still haven't figured out how to embed the images into a post. Maybe one day... BUT the attachments work!

Just got back from San Diego and was thinking of the last time I was in California and I took that day trip to Joshua Tree....

Love those desert pics. They would make wonderful prints.

As many times as I've gazed at this pic, I never noticed the hunting knife Bernie is sporting, or that his Eagles medallion is visible. Glenn is wrapped up in an Indian blanket, just like Don is in the album pic from the OOTN photo shoot--coincidence? I guess I was too busy looking at the guy on the left side to notice these things!

Holy cow! I never noticed the knife either. Randy is such a distraction

That's a good-sized knife he's carrying! It must have been cold. Glenn's wrapped up like Nanook of the North, and Randy's jacket has a sheepskin lining. I know it can get really cold in the desert at night, though. The peyote must have been wearing off. LOL. Brings out that mother hen in me. "Come on. Time for you all to hit the hay, sober up and get some rest!"

To tell the truth. The only person that doesn't look high is Randy.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
