It's amazing that an Eagles photo existed that none of us had seen before!

I also have a version of that photo that the guys have all signed. A gal I know found it by searching FB. I never find anything good when I try, so maybe there's a skill to it. Anyway, fingers crossed I'm going to try to post it.

I know - it's amazing that we are just now seeing that picture. I it so cute and the signed one is even more cool, of course!

This is a page from a London newspaper in 1977. It seems to be saying that Joe’s “old lady” was a topless model, unless it’s just a joke that I’m not getting. https://americanradiohistory.com/hd2...y%20meisner%22

Thanks, NMB. I'm not sure what it means. TBH, the whole thing kinda went over my head, but sometimes I can be ditsy that way.

Yes, I think that’s what the mag is saying as well.

That radio station in the corner? 93KHJ was out of Los Angeles. I used to listen to it all the time when I was much younger. Sam Riddle from the music TV shows "9th Street West" and "The Sam Riddle Show" was a DJ.

Where did you get the idea that she was a topless model from? Perhaps I'm being really naive, but I thought from context that this magazine must typically have a picture of a girl on the third page of each issue (which is obviously their gossip column page) that they called their "page 3 girl" (see the page number in the upper right), and Joe's ladyfriend happened to be this issue's featured woman in the gossip column.

The guys' expressions in this photo mirror my reaction to the "topless model" interpretation of the London article. What the hammer?!
