Awesome JH!
I'm very excited for the show. I'm very excited about the new setlist and the return of the 3 hour concert and for the possibility of seeing Leadon on TIE or PEF - while I much prefer Joe, I don't dislike Leadon at all, it's just that Joe's my kind of music and my kind of guitar player.
I totally agree with you! Bernie and Joe are both fantastic, but two different guitarists definitely. I'm also curious to see Joe's rig for this tour. In 08 when I saw him he was paying Carvin Amps and Carvin guitars, strats, EBMM, Ibanez, and other stuff I can't remember. I wonder if Joe, Steuart, and Bernie will share the stage together. Sorry if my inner guitar nerd is coming out Haha

Another guitar nerd here!!! Nice to have some company in that area 'round these parts.
Yes Joe changes gear a lot. He hasn't played his Carvins recently. At the moment it seems to be Duesenberg, EBMM, Fender, and Gibson. He was playing the JS model Ibanez, the Carvin CT6/CS6/DC6, and a PRS Mira but now it seems to be Duesy's and Strats mostly, with the occasional EBMM, and Gibson Double Cut for slide.
Amp wise for the last Eagles run he used a Vox Night Train and a VOX AC15. Before that it was a Vox AC15 and Egnater Rebel 20. And then before that - the Carvin amps and before that, a Fender Deluxe Reverb and Dr. Z Prescription. I hear he might be trying a 65amps amp on this tour.
Solo amp wise it's been changing frequently. First it was Divided by 13, then Dr Z MAZ and Fender Twin Reverb, then 3rd Power Amps, then Guytron amps, then a VOX AC4, then a Marshall Bluesbreaker Combo and a Fender Tweed.
I can't blame the guy - I get bored easy too. My guitar rig is constantly changing - especially in the pedalboard department. That's one area Joe is pretty consistent in - mainly BOSS pedals and his RMC wah.
