    Hi Guys
I loved the concert. It was so cool seeing them again and with Bernie to boot. It was great. They sounded awesome and I was so happy to see TBS singing again I loved the new background videos they were so fun. I loved Joe as supermen and Godzilla instead of destroying hotels he is taking out cities lol. My dream finally came through and I got to hear Doolin Daltons and the Reprise. I was on cloud nine. I never thought it would happen; my mom and friend had to hold me in my seat, I wanted to float away. .. It was cool hearing them start with Saturday night with only Glenn and Don. I liked how they slowly added band members but didn't get why they brought TBS on before Joe. Bid thank you to those who told me about the shuttles they worked great. My only complaint is I hated the venue. It was a joke trying to get seat because my door in was in front of the bathroom so I got in literally 5 minutes before the band started. If I had missed the start, I might have lost my mind. All in All though the concert was so great that I will forget the venue and focus on how great the guys were.

You know you have some delicious bugs here about on the Mississippi... Extra Protein thank you very much!!!!-Don Henley- At the St. Louis, MO concert June 2010.

Finally, my thoughts...,what to add to what others have already said so well...?

I have to say, it exceeded my expectations, in quality, in charisma, in everything, performance-wise. I had a coworker who tried to bring me down by saying the last time he was them in concert they just "phoned it in" and no one moved or interacted and it was like watching "strangers in individual bubbles" on stage, so I had tempered my expectations on what to expect in their stage presence--I mean, as long as they sound great, what do I care if they're (to use Don's phrase in the doc), "loitering on stage?" But I really found them to be cohesive, intimate group on stage, and I felt they came off very much as a unit, as a united band. (And they moved!) Joe and Glenn, especially, seem to have a special bond--they exchanged a lot of cute smiles and playful shrugs and laughs between songs, especially after "Heartache Tonight" and "Life's Been Good"--they seemed to be having a good time together. And I loved seeing Tim and Glenn share the mike at times to do harmonies. They were both so passionate and into it all--lovely to see after all these years.

And I have to agree with others here--it was a very "pro-Timmy" crowd. I think die-hard Eagles fans keep track of things RE: the band, esp. in this age of the Internet and social media, and knew of his ailment and recovery this past year. So I sensed a lot of extra warmth when he was introduced and for his songs.

Also, I seemed to be sitting behind a one-man super fanclub for Bernie--anything Bernie did, this man stood, hoot and hollered for--it was cute! You could genuinely tell Bernie was jazzed to be there and his musical additions to the band's sound were easily felt--things just had an extra buzz and richness when he was on-stage. And after seeing the doc and hearing of the great beer-over-the-head incident 'tween Bernie and Glenn (and reading some comments over the years of their very different personalities), I was happy to see a certain bond between Glenn and Bernie on stage. In the bows, Glenn and Bernie were side-by-side, and after the rest of the group, broke, they kept their arms around each other and shared a small conversation, a laugh and a mutual smile. It must be so trippy to be back together after 38 years apart, but there seems (at least now, and on-stage) to be a genuine rediscovery and reunion going on that is pleasantly surprising them all.

Don's voice astounded me--strong from start to finish, and boy, did he nail the high parts when needed--especially in "Witchy Woman." He just knows his phrasing and what to sing, and how, and when--ultimate vocal control, just like the way you recall from the recordings. I think his voice has stayed pretty much similar to it's quality in their "heyday," while Glenn's has deepened a bit over the years. But the way they've reworked the songs really suits his voice now, and still preserves the integrity of the songs. When you think about it, he thad the most solo vocal songs added back into the mix, with pretty new arrangements, and he really tackled them well, IMHO. And I do think his work on "After Hours" has given him extra richness in his tone and technique. He was really belting things out loud and strong and clear on "Already Gone" and "NKIT" --very impressive. And he's such a clown on stage--perhaps even more than Joe. I felt bad for him that he swallowed a bug, but it didn't seem to inhibit his great intros for the band--surprised he had a voice left after those enthusiastic introductions!

Joe was Joe, of course--a guitar god, and I have to add, my favorite dresser of the night--that black buttondown with the flowers was damn nice on him!! He does indeed kick things up a notch on stage, and just brings a looseness to the proceedings that is needed. He didn't talk a lot to the audience this night, but he still created quite a bond with us through his virtuosity. His exuberance and talent just....pours right off stage and into your soul--and could you tell he loved getting out those vocoders/voiceboxes again! "Those Shoes" just oozed sensuality and danger. Great performance for a humid night...

So, what can I say, it was a great evening. I sensed a lot of fun and gratitude on the band's part to the audience, and I hope they felt it back from us, too. (And I hope Glenn could sense how happy I was that he broke out the black tee and nice-fitting jeans for the first half--well-played for the weather and the rocking-out, Mr. Frey, well-played.)

AEW I so agree with the clothing choices.
They all looked so relax in there jeans and shirts. I love Glenn in T shirts TBS in plaid was good too. They all looked awesome though I spent a good part of the second half trying to read Glenn's shirt LOL I also snorted my water when poor Glenn said he swallowed the bug. At my last concert it was Don who did that as you can tell from my favorite quote from my last concert listed in my signature lol Though with a new concert maybe it's time to change it to a new quote

I totally agree! That song "broke" me, so to speak... the sheer sexiness reduced me to incoherent muttering! Easily one of my favorite performances from the night.
