What I've been doing with my uncle for the past 6 hours. My first time doing a smoked turkey(redneck style). We used my pa pa's 30 year old homemade smoker.
My uncle prepping it.
Flaring up (we used oak wood)
Putting the turkey on.
I now smell horribly of smoke, but it's worth it. The turkey shoukd be done in about 2 hours. I can't wait to eat it tomorrow!

I must say that the work we did was worth it. That turkey was so flavorful and tender, and there's plenty of leftovers.
