Greetings from the UK

Just joined on here, to share my views on the greatest band of all time (by a country mile). Great to see such a thriving community, never would have guessed they have their own dedicated forum!
Anyway, bit about me: I'm 18, from the UK, enjoy sport, politics and just about anything else going. Also a bit obsessed with transport and travel and the Old West (ties in well with Desperado). Aside from the Eagles I love most classic rock and heavy metal, and also a little bit of country.
Regarding the Eagles, I love them. Listened to them since I was a little kid, first song I loved was Take It to the Limit, then the rest of their big hits before getting really interested and delving into their lesser known stuff.
My favourite album would probably be Desperado, then Hotel Cali, then OOTN. This might be unpopular on here (sorry) but as much as I love them I can't get on too fondly with The Long Run era, it was just too far removed from their roots for me. LROOE was very good though.
