Oh wow, you aren't kidding, JMS! We just scored nine runs in one inning!

The bullpen stinks. I really don't know what it will take for ownership to finally realize Mattingly needs to go & take his puppet McGwire with him.

Even though they lost I did enjoy the game & stadium. An added bonus was there was an OAR concert after the game. The next day they were appearing at Musikfest which is a 10 day music festival held in Bethlehem PA where Joe Walsh is playing in September. Since I am having surgery this week I won't be able to get down this year.

I'm sorry I have been gone. My laptop went belly up and when I got a new one I couldn't remember all of my passwords.

What's happening in my life? A LOT of stuff.

My hubby is apparently having a mid-life crisis of sorts so he wants to put our house on the market and move to a high-rise apartment downtown. So in the last month we have viewed over 8 different ones.

Then we had the realtor over and he said we could get a lot more money if we did some minor work in our bathrooms. So we had different contractors over. We chose one and he started on Sunday and kept finding things wrong so we are now 1000 over what he quoted us and was supposed to come today so hubby took the day off and he never showed...I know he is not ditching us because he left a lot of tools.

I am mostly okay with this plan but we can't take our two boxers so my daughters soon to be inlaws are taking them. They leave tomorrow.

I am just frustrated because the timing sucks. Teachers started back to work this week and students start next week.

Why couldn't he do this in June?

I feel your pain, SC, when it comes to contractors! This is why I did most of my renovating myself, or conned my brother or dad or sister into helping. I don't mind paying for work done well, but the constant nickel and diming and raising the price, then not showing up when scheduled is all very typical of even good contractors. Drives me crazy!

I feel for you S-C! I know what those last few weeks are like before schools reopen, and that its nice to be settled by then. And I ALWAYS find that jobs go over budget too! Not easy! Good luck with the move.

I survived surgery. Needless to say I am told Friday, Saturday & most of Sunday happened. Apparently I watched Bachelor in Paradise over & over...the same episode. Thing is, I have never watched any Bachelor show ever.
Saw the doctor today got an all good check-up, see him in 2 more weeks.

What have is missed Cass County-wise?
