thanks Patty. I know I am the exception to the rule when it comes to bosses. Believe me I know cause I have worked for some crappy ones in my time lol.
Most of the gals at work have the same attitude..patient care comes first ..thats why we are there..When I first came to that office , the attitude was very much Oh thats someone elses job not mine...(tech ,billing, front desk, contacts optical ,surg etc...)
now we all try and help each other out.But we also have lost alot of the no team players Pattty I am so happy for you and will continue to pray for your speedy recovery.

PM-ah, now I see why you aren't able to sneak away to St. Louis. I feel for everyone who is going thru job changes, turmoil, etc. I'm in healthcare, and the times they are a changin' for us, too. I've been doing my job for nearly 30 years, and yet some days I feel like it's my first day with everything being so fluid.

EL-sorry for the loss of Smokie.

Thanks for listening to me rant about work. I try to always keep a positive outlook about everything, but lately I feel like I'm being beaten down. It could always be worse though. I'm thankful I have a job. I was surprised I was scheduled off today, since I also have next Friday and Saturday off for the concert. This three day holiday weekend is much needed.

Been a while since I posted on here! EL sorry to hear about Smokey. GEF it sounds like things are working out for you. SC good luck with staying off the cigarettes, and congratulations on the hard work so far. Brooke glad the software glitch got fixed. PM I can totally relate to being short handed on the job. We still haven't replaced my old position due to a complete lack of qualified applicants.
For myself, I have been without my computer for a week. I did something really stupid, I trusted a technician when I shouldn't have. I gave them remote access to my computer. Their software wasn't behaving, and it created a new boot drive on my computer. Not a complete drive. The technician made it the primary boot drive then rebooted the machine. So now it won't boot up. I got to pay 89 dollarsto have this wonderful service. So I took the thing to a real shop to get it fixed. I only hope they can fix it! I miss my computer!
