We had major vehicles issue this week and had to call in unexpectedly on Friday so I am probably in trouble for that. but I don't care.

I know the feeling of going back to work after all of this!! I had to go back last Tuesday after knowing that Glenn passed!!! Broke my heart and couldn't function all that well!!

I'm in the lull of the storm of my father-in-law no longer being able to cope on his own. There's obviously some dementia involved which makes it tricky as much of the time he seems pretty sensible for a man of his age but then there will be something absurd. I'm having to keep away from direct contact as he's convinced himself that I've "gone nuts". For about 3 weeks, neither my husband nor I were able to do much work because there was a new crisis every day. He's now back home (a 3-hour drive away) with visits from daily careworkers and grocery deliveries while we wait for him to be assessed and for our Power of Attorney application to be processed. Until the next crisis.

Doctor's appointment today at 1:15 pm. I'm thinking that this may be whatever problem I've had for the past 5 years, which has never been properly diagnosed. If it is it, this is the worst flare up I've ever had.

Well, I still don't have a full answer for what I have. For now, my doctor is calling it an "intestinal infection". I had a few tests done, and should have the results sometime between Thursday- next Monday. We'll go from there. My doctor also gave me 2 very powerful antibiotics that should help. I've lost nearly 6 pounds since Thursday, and have also started to run a low grade fever today, which has me feeling very tired and rundown. I hope to start feeling better soon.
