I mentioned to a friend who's also my new manager that I needed to take two days off next week. She asked where the Eagles were playing. She was surprised to hear I wasn't going to a concert.

Since all my employees will be without jobs in Sept., they seem to all be joining Linked In. Let me just say I detest Linked In?! I logged in to accept connections, endorse people, and start writing recommendations for those who work for me, and in my connection list are two people I've never heard of. They are 1st tier connections that I never accepted.

My Mom passed away today at the age of 80. She had been so sick with cancer it is a blessing for her. I will miss her greatly.
