Please pray for my grandson and his mommy and daddy. He had his 9 months checkup last week and they found a heart murmur. It sounds really scary, but these are fairly common and most will grow out of it, but he has a test this afternoon to find out more. We will be on edge till we know more. All prayers welcome.

I hope everything is okay. I was born with a murmur and never had any problems. I had yearly echos as a kid and still get one every few years but it's not even detectable anymore.

Currently back at uni, the work is both boring and complicated, but luckily I am also spending my time looking for a placement job for next year, which is just as awkward and more infuriating.

Brooke of course I will pray for your family. Try not to worry - My son was diagnosed with the same at his 6-week check. We had it checked again when he was about 2 or 3, and the specialist said we had nothing to worry about. He is nearly 11 now and has had no problems at all, although it always causes hassle for some reason when he is getting dental work done lol. I'm sure Cutter will be fine.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! They had to reschedule Cutter's test for next week because he wouldn't go to sleep and they don't like to sedate babies. I can't imagine him cooperating next week either, he's just too curious as to what's going on when he's in a new environment! We shall see! Little stinker! So, more worry for GG! I can't imagine it being a problem according to how active he is, but they want to make sure.

tlr, good luck with your studies and job hunting. What is your course of study?
