Well exciting news in my house. My daughter got engaged yesterday! My first born, it only seems like yesterday. We are so proud and happy for them. Other than that, horrible forest fire south of us. Today brought cooler weather and we pray for rain.

My parents are currently vacationing in Tennessee in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and are having a great time. My Dad was so happy to get to take a pic of himself sitting in the 60s Batman show's Batmoblie as they have a car museum there. LOL He kept going on and on about it on FB and on the phone. You can see where I get my nerdiness from.

My grandma and mom have reconciled, which means everything is back to normal. I plan on spending next week preparing for the fall semester, which starts on the 15th. This semester will be more strenuous because of the longer distance I'll have to travel and all of my classes are face-to-face. Plus, all four of my classes are 4 of my required classes. I plan to spend a day or at least an afternoon at the main campus to familiarize myself with it.

Busy weekend ahead, we have a family reunion which starts with a small gathering tonight and a large one tomorrow. Mix that in with starting work on our son's house that they just bought. Lots of painting going on to get ready for new carpet and flooring throughout on Friday. Then the big move next weekend! We've been waiting for this all summer and FINALLY it's here!

Brooke, my Mom's side of the family is having a reunion tomorrow too but I'm also going to see Brad Paisley tomorrow night in Cincinnati so it's going to be a busy day. That's great about your son's house.
