I just lost the battle of me vs. the grass. I finally got a break from the weather, so I decide to mow the 2-3 foot high grass. Half way through, one of the belts broke. (I use a riding lawnmower due to the size of my yard). I'm left with a half cut yard!

In a way, it is. Your post did make me laugh. . It's not far from the truth, though. I did manage to get the grass around the house cut, and that was the most important. (Snakes etc). It'll be a few days before I can get the belt and pulley replaced.

Playing Rummy with my mom and uncle. We've been playing for over 2 hours. It's currently 12:30 am and by the time one of us reaches the number of points needed, 2,000, it'll probably be 2 al or later!

I'm trying to catch up around here! A big job after the weekend and all of the Don excitement! Good thing I'm home on another week of stay cation!

Watching my son tear about our deck, then we have to reside the rest of the house, install a new sliding door and then.........Put the deck all back together again. What a fun and exciting summer. Oh and it's hot again........Need a cold one.
