I'll try for the 25th. That's my son, Tom's birthday. Ironically, the last chat party was on my other son's birthday.



You guys are making this tough for me. How can I be a good attentive Mom when my mind really wants to be someplace else?

I'm sure glad we changed the date - I just found out yesterday that I have to go somewhere on the evening of March 18.



Kate - it sure is a mystery about you not being able to get into chat. Do you have a firewall installed on your pc. If so, have you tried to shutdown your firewall before signing into chat? Sometimes that will work. If you can sign on with your firewall shutdown, you can restore it right away once you are signed on. It's just a thought, and worth a try. Some firewall's block things that you don't want them to.

Kay, thank you for the advice. I did get a chance to try it, eventually, but the same message came up. I think we may have a strict firewall on our broadband connection.
