Default Mayo Performing Arts Center, Morristown, NJ - 09/13/2013

    Here’s a review with pictures:

Don is always nice to his fans!

After the show Don stayed on the stage for nearly 30 minutes to talk with fans and autograph albums. His crew also handed out any extra set lists so that people could have Felder sign them. We were impressed that this multiple Grammy award winning artist who has sold millions of records was taking time to chat and have his picture taken with folks.
Soundpress.net was also pleasantly surprised that we were given an opportunity to speak with Mr. Felder backstage. We were a bit nervous meeting the legendary Eagle but he quickly put us at ease. Don talked with us about the creative process of writing his best selling book and the album Road To Forever, along with some commentary about his tenure with The Eagles. Don answered our questions and before we departed he offered to pose for a photo with us. Felder was friendly and best of all he appears to be flying high on life these days.

Thanks for the review, SM! I'm glad the fact that he's loving his life right now was picked up on by the press. It's great that he takes his time with the fans, too!

A guy who was at the show sent this tweet to Don:

And here’s his review of the show:

Perhaps the best part of the show was this: I had tweeted at Felder before the show, jokingly asking what one had to do to get a backstage pass and meet him, and he actually replied to me that he would be at the front of the stage after the show to sign autographs and meet the fans.
I have NEVER seen an artist of his caliber act that graciously and engage their fans in that casual of a fashion. There was no ego or pretense. He signed every item that was placed in front of him for every fan that waited to see him. I was fortunate enough to shake his hand, tell him how much he inspired me, and get my ticket signed. Oh yeah, I got a picture with him as well.
    That's great!

That's soo cool that Don hangs after the show with the fans. He's probably making up from the time when he didn't do it after the show in the 70s. Its never to late to start doing something you didn't do when you were younger.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of his shows.

I can't believe he played Havana in New Hope. I love that place!

Here is a glowing review of Don's show at Havana, but I don't know how to make a new thread. Always scared I'm gonna mess something up...can someone move it?
