I've Got Mine has got to go.

You can see the stars and still not see the light.
I need to get in here and vote now because who knows what the weekend will bring.
I just went in and watched about 4 of these videos again, including I've Got Mine, thinking that I must be missing something because everyone's voting for it and I don't have it this far down on my list. I just can't vote for it yet. I'm finding myself leaning toward mostly 80s videos because I just loved them back then.
I'm afraid the one I have to vote for now, after watching it again this morning, just isn't doing anything for me. In fact, it kind of drives me crazy. I don't really know why since I actually like the song-could be the dancing, could be something as silly as his hair (which I don't care for the greased back look). Sooooo, sorry to those who have advocated for it here but it has to go sometime.
I vote for Route 66.
He sings it high, he plays it low
I've Got Mine. Glenn looks nice in the video, but its a depressing video.

I need to go ahead and vote cause who knows if I can make it back here over the weekend!
I just can't vote for I've Got Mine yet. I love the song. But those shoulder pads in that jacket and the short hair..... Forgot about those!
Route 66-It's fun and very smooth, but I hate his hair here.
I'm going to vote for Livin' Right. It's funny but just so dated I can hardly watch it! Anyone remember going to aerobics class?

I appreciate what he was trying to do with "I've Got Mine" but I agree that they could have chosen the clips a bit better. I especially think they harped a bit too much on the "shallow Hollywood wife" stereotype as the representation of greed when, if you listen to the song, it's a man who's the representative. I guess it was decided that it would be more fun to show aging but still pretty Hollywood women in bikinis. That said, even if the message is conveyed a bit clumsily, at least it HAS one. That's more than can be said for another video which I will persist in voting for....
I cast my vote for The Heat Is On.
Regarding "Route 66" - I think the dancing is adorable and I like the retro feel. JMHO.
Well - there are still quite a few outstanding votes, but it's not looking good for I've Got Mine. Although there are a few others I would choose to eliminate first, I think of the I've Got Mine video as a big missed opportunity. I've mentioned this before, but I just absolutely love this song. In fact, it may be in my top 5 of favorite Glenn solo songs. However, while I don't think the video is awful, there are so many ways they could have done more with it to do justice to the song. If you want an example of a great way to do a 'social commentary' video, you don't have to look any farther than The End of the Innocence. A similar story-telling approach could have been used very effectively for the I've Got Mine video to convey the song's message, IMHO.
Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and vote early this time for one of the videos that just doesn't rock my world. The video is okay, and Glenn looks great (as does his sidekick, Mr. Schmit), but that's not my criteria. I know some of you like this video and song, but I just don't think there is much creativity going on here. So ...
I cast my vote for Some Kind of Blue.

I'm rushing in to vote off 'Ive Got Mine'

Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
I'll stick with Route 66 as my choice to be voted off the island.

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
Because the UK clocks had altered I missed the vote in the last round. (Usually the round finishes at 1am UK time. At the moment it's midnight.) Nearly missed it this time too.
I vote for 'Route 66'.
