Glastonbury 2014 is from 25th to 29th June.

    Just a thought.

Never been one for festivals but the thought of the Eagles doing an outdoor, daylight concert like the did for California Jam in 1974 might just tempt me to go and sit in a field in Somerset next summer Never followed the festival but don't the huge names get saved up for the final evening?

I would stick to indoor gigs for the Eagles, see them at the Hop Farm in 2011, they were not a patch on a stadium or arena gig, mind you I am not sure if that was their fault or the sound stage ?

It had crossed my mind that Eagles were a possibility for Glastonbury, although the betting seems to be on Fleetwood Mac. Unfortunately, the tickets sold out within hours.

Eavis said earlier this summer that 2014′s crowd could expect a veteran act to rival the Rolling Stones, who made their Glastonbury debut as one of 2013′s headline acts.

The good thing is that the BBC provide excellent live coverage.

Ticket alert on our German ticket seller website Eventim is up! Won't take too long anymore until they announce dates

Not a fan of Festivals either. Tent and a possibly muddy field not me.
Will be relying on BBC2 for Glastonbury coverage from the comfort of the sofa.

Cool Roxy Hope they will come to Hamburg like they did the last time. And I am sure Eventim will do this lovely EXCLUSIVE presale crap like they usually do for these huge events *sigh*

Just been looking at Eagles Fastlane Facebook page and someone was wondering if the European audiences understood what the band were singing about and was there a translation for them. I can just see someone standing at the side of the stage singing a translation. Needless to say there are a couple of well deserved sarcastic remarks from people particularly from England, which is part of Europe.

Patronising in the extreme. These songs are now so well known that you don't have to be a native English speaker to understand them. The fact is that most Europeans now speak English to a degree these days. I belong to a postcard swapping site & every card I receive, including all from Europe, is written in English. In fact in my entire two years there, I have only received one card that wasn't in English (it was in German).
