Did anyone watch the above HC video? Wasn't Joe having problems or was it my imagination?

I watched two different HC videos from that night, HB, and I can't tell too much from them. To my untrained ear, you can hear Joe's part throughout the song, so it doesn't seem to be a sound problem. It's hard to tell in the video that Joe is messing with his equipment. I do see the guitar tech come out very briefly at the end of the song. To me, the one part that sounds off is at the end of Joe's last solo during one of my favorite parts - I don't know how to describe the part, and I don't know how to describe the flaw...it sort of sounds like he misses notes. I'm glad everyone else thought it sounded okay, and I hope Joe wasn't too upset. A class act is when something goes wrong and the show goes on.

I noticed in the video when Joe was doing his last solo before the harmony solo with Steuart, it went out like for a few seconds and it came back, but sounding like a bad note. It sounded like a mixture of a wrong note and losing his sound very briefly. It sounded like he was trying to recover before the sound came back.

I feel bad for Joe. Everything went well for a while until HC. He was a trooper. He told the audience he had some technical difficulties and everything was good now.

Yes, the technical difficulties that Joe was referring to before LBG were the ones he had during WW.
