Concert Pet Peeves/Annoyances

Thought I'd create this thread about what everyone's concert pet peeves/annoyances are.

I'll do top 5 but you can list as many as you want.

1. SINGING - I'm all for everyone getting into it and having fun but when you are drowning out the BAND, I have a problem with it - both at shows and watching YouTube footage. You probably aren't as great of a singer as the guys on stage, it's not a competition and I'd prefer to hear them, TYVM.

2. DRUNKS - Nothing wrong with alcohol or having a good time unless you become a jerk or the kind that is falling over and knocking people over. If you can't control yourself any better, don't drink, or drink VERY little.

3. CAUSING TROUBLE/BEING LOUD - Sometimes the singing fits under this but people who are yelling when they are playing or even on stage really bothers me. I really can't stand people who just stir up trouble and is a distraction.

4. RUDENESS - Pushing and shoving, getting upset at people over seating arrangements, yelling and causing a big scene only to get kicked out. It makes no sense. The last concert I went to not only were they kicked out but were arrested for hitting the security guy. I'm sorry but you have no business being in public, let alone a fun informal concert.

5. OVERZEALOUS SECURITY - Security guys that let the power go to their heads and try to boss the people (especially close to the stage) around and are overly controlling. I've been to so many concerts and it's really annoying. Yes you are getting paid to be security, that doesn't mean you need to be a jerk and try to run the place. Instead of going after the troublemakers, they pick on people doing nothing.

rude people---drunks fall into this category.....

people who arrive late.....

people who get up over and over to get more liquor and
then have to keep going to the bathroom over and over

people who don't shut up...they think its ok to hold a
rambling conversation with their buddies...during the show.

over zealous security people who pick on the ones trying to
have fun and not on the drunks and idiots..

I mean we spend a lot of money for tixs I wanna see the band and enjoy them .Not the RUDE PEOPLE!

Another thing that drives me nuts. I'm so tall I have to leave the row of chairs to let someone through as they can't squeeze by me and it pisses me off that they keep making me get up. At one show I know a guy was doing it on purpose to me because he knew I had trouble with it. It really bothered me.

This always reminds me of once when we were having a game night with nieces, nephews and the whole family. They always include a lot of music. My niece was singing along to Crazy On You by Heart. Her brother asked her who sings this song. She looked at him, puzzled, and said Heart. He said, "then let them sing it!" Lol

I try to behave myself at concerts but I can sing along with the best of them in my car by myself.

Well - I think y'all covered all of mine!

With regard to singing along - I love to do that; however, I sing in a whisper to myself, especially during the ballads, cause ITA - other folks didn't come to hear me sing.

Yep. You guys covered them all. I will include the ridiculously long lines to the ladies bathroom. Hopefully, future arena designers will take this into consideration. I also can't stand when I do finally get into a stall and it's filthy and stinky. Total lack of consideration for others.

Most of all for me is people singing so loud they drown out the band and the hecklers. I came to hear the band!
