The peak of her career was a little before my time, but I do remember seeing her in Rebecca. However, it's been so long since I saw the film, I can't remember anything about it. The other thing I always remember about her is that she was the sister of another talented actress, Olivia deHavilland. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

    R.I.P. Joan Fontaine.

oh Rebecca is an awesome movie...and my other favorite of her's is "Suspicion"...it really hits me when these old movie stars die...I am such an old movie buff...would much rather sit and watch an old black and white movie..than some new movie that's out!

I was sad she passed on. I know this is old news, but she was one of my favorites. I love movies; so I'd seen several of her films, including "Rebecca," "Jane Eyre" and "Suspicion"

Her troubled relationship with her famous sister, Olivia de Havilland, has been in the news for years. I guess we'll never quite know if they ever made amends. Olivia has been mum about it, but that is okay; it was their business.

    Rest in Peace, Joan!
