    Thanks for that DF - I didn't realize that Don was the one who drove the vision of the cover. An interesting read!

    If you read the album credits it clearly says 'art direction: Don Henley & Kosh'.

    I didn't know Don was the one who helped design the cover either, until I read that article.

    I honestly didn't intend that post of mine to sound so anally retentive. Sorry.

    Back on topic HC is still probably my favourite album cover, along with Band On The Run. Both of them have so many stories to tell.

    That was a great read, Df. Thanks for posting. I always wondered how they got that view of the Beverly Hills Hotel, and I hadn't realised that Don took such a major role in the artwork.

    It's one of my favourites, too, FP. Many an hour was spent poring over album covers in the 70s - perhaps we should start a favourite album covers thread?
