Isn't it beautiful and fluffy? I think I even see blond highlights.
I like his thumbs-in-pockets cowboy stance too.
Oh Randy you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind - hey Randy!
Sorry. I went all Toni Basil there for a mo'.

LOVE these pics! They (and the subject matter ) bring a smile to my face!

It’s only moments that you borrow...
That shot is from the Helen Reddy Show, July 12, 1973. You see Randy's Eagles medallion?
I think that is a Fender Precision bass. Notice the "War is not healthy" sticker. Randy loaned his bass to the Grammy Museum for a 2014 exhibit on Laurel Canyon.
How awesome! It looks like a really cool display. I know next to nothing about guitars but am trying to learn about his bass "history". I believe the next guitar he used was a red Hagstrom (?). I'm gonna try to post a pic of him with it.
And no, I didn't notice the medallion nestled against his bare chest showing through the open shirt.

I love the Hagstrom!
It's all in your smile that brings
All of the special things about you
Thank you, Luvy. I appreciate learning about other items in the display because I've wondered about nearly all of them! The only other thing I recognized was the debut Eagles album cover.
I wish the Grammy museum would bring this exhibit back. They actually had Jim Morrison's purple reading chair: a fabled treasure that Doors fans didn't dare to think still existed. But I digress.
Back to the Hagstrom! Beam me up, Randy!
I love this Randy bass too, I think it's a Rickenbacker
Randy has had the gold Fender (Precision?) bass since at least 1968. Here it is during the Pogo/Poco tenure, before Randy added the "War is not healthy" sticker.
