very cool! Thanks for sharing. Multitalented Mr Meisner!
Ha, it appears Randy is rocking the ol 35 mm actual film point n shoot! I remember way back when I was a teen going to a concert sneaking in the camera and taking pics (I was in front row at a club) And the band L.A. Guns hammed it up too! Didn’t mind! Only to find out at the end the film never advanced! Aaaah!
I love the clay sculpture of a hand - playing the bass, no doubt This is from the 1994 book "Musicians as Artists."
Here is Randy performing in a benefit for Unicef on December 7, 1986.
I love this sweet photo of Randy receiving the keys to the city of Omaha, Nebraska with his beloved Mom standing by his side.
Here is the accompanying article from the Omaha World-Herald, published March 2, 1981.

Nice review of Randy’s show. I can’t say I’m surprised his voice wasn’t in optimal shape. His performance apparently happened the evening before, March 1, 1981 which was a Sunday. He had a concert on Saturday in Denver, Colorado, which was recorded live and later released on CD. The evening before that he appeared on the TV show “Fridays” which I’m assuming was live b/c of the flub of his name by the host (?). I’m not sure where “Fridays” was based - L.A. or NYC? Anyway, that was a lot of traveling and performing in a short period of time.
Thank you so much NMB for sharing these treasures. It’s heartwarming to read about Randy’s contributions to charity and his honors like getting a key to the city.

The Fridays show was based in L.A., so Randy was traveling a lot and doing shows almost every night.
