LOVE the profile shot!

Wonder if Don's got the requisite old family photo albums hidden away somewhere, with the secret of the curly hair amongst the pages!

That Felicity photo makes me chuckle, but only because of the lettering tape spelling out FELICITY, which I remember using myself when I was a little kid! Wow, I feel old remembering that!

Here is a High School Yearbook photo of Don. It is a screenshot I took from an old interview he did on Caddo Lake. So, it is fuzzy. As to the natural curly vs. afro perm controversy, it is hard to tell because back in the '60's they gooped up hair into a slick side sweep. However, in the yearbook photo it appears his hair has some volume to it??? I love his hair no matter the style or styling!

Another thought on the curly hair, maybe he did pin curls! Remember those? You would twirl a strand of hair and lay it flat on your head and hold it with two bobby pins. I can just see Don doing that....NOT!
