Last year I went with the tan-from-a-mousse-bottle thing...probably shouldn't have tried it for the first time when I actually wanted to look *good*. It came out well on all the visible parts, luckily, but it was also a very lucky thing that I was wearing a long-sleeved shirt and pants...if there'd been T-shirts or capris in my plans, the plans would've changed.
