Although it's not a direct quote, Billboard.com states that Felder told them he was "writing new material" for a future project.

It might be the extra tracks on the re-released "Road for Forever".

Now, to coincide with the launch of "The Soundtrack of Summer," the album is being re-released with four additional songs, ROAD TO FOREVER: EXTENDED EDITION, on March 4 via INGrooves Music Group. The album's latest single, "You Don't Have Me," will be serviced to radio in April.

If so, the Billboard quote is misleading. That material was written a couple years ago. "Writing new material" sounds like works-in-progress.

True. If it's being re-issued in March, the additional tracks must already have been recorded.
