No reason at all. It is more likely to be Henley. I just thought Joe might occasionally shrug his shoulders and use such a phrase. The song that uses it in a very striking manner is Peter Gabriel's Biko.

The other thing is that Henley will probably have a long dramatic ballad where he gets to stand down the front. So maybe What Do I Do With My Heart is his.

I hope we will all get a big laugh out of all this seeing how wrong we were. We've made so many assumptions. I mean just once why couldn't Tim sing a song with a title like Frail Grasp? Why do people assume songs with titles like that must be Henley's? Because of his track record...

Well - the speculating is interesting. It sounds like you all are making some pretty good guesses on these as far as who could be doing the lead vocals. It'll be interesting to see how close you are when the album comes out.

As far as the songwriting credits, I think Steuart Smith is also credited on Do Something. In addition, I don't think we know for sure about the songwriting credits for The Long Road Out of Eden. I would be very surprised if Don has a lone credit. He almost always has a collaborator. Even if he wrote most of the words. I'm thinking it's probable that someone else assisted with the music and/or arrangement.

I hope Don's songs were written with Glenn, but I really would rather not try to guess that.

Oh, I got the wrong impression, I thought maybe you had read something.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed everyone's insight into guessing which songs will be sung by who on The Eagles' new album. Jack, I found your insight rather amusing at times, and clever!

For my part, though, I'd rather just wait to hear the album, and let the boys' new sounds surprise me... I'm really looking forward to it!

And I know Glenn won't let me down

I don't understand this comment, Don doesn't even like "whiners," just listen to Get Over It.

Thank you Miss Ghost--I didn't understand Bomber's comment either.

Don't know if you meant for these to be humerous, but anyway, thanks for the laugh it gave me!

What made you choose the word fabulous? It's that shiny silver suit, isn't it?
Yeah, I was trying to be funny, guess not everybody got the joke looks like.

I just get the impression from the Farewell 1 DVD and other interviews that Glenn likes the living the "fabulous life", golfing whenever you want, taking time off whenever you want, having fine wines, wearing fancy suits that shine, haha. Again just joking, not meant to offend.
