I don't think there has been any mention of it, but we can hope! I'm sure everyone around here would want it!

It has been far too long since they released a DVD. If they are going to stop touring after this tour, they need to get one out so that we can have something to remember them by. Some bands like Rush release DVDs EVERY TOUR. It isn't good enough.

Hopefully at the upcoming shows fans will notice if they're videoing for DVD and let us know - it should be pretty obvious as far as number of cameras, operators, maybe a boom camera. Maybe in Europe! I love those videos from Dublin in HOTE, maybe they'll do it there!

There was one camera man walking back and forth in front of the stage in Atlanta. He was filming moments of each on individually. He only filmed maybe 45 mins. or so, then we didn't see him anymore. It was very random, he would start and stop, walking back and forth, spending a few minutes focused on one person.

Hmmm. That sounds like it might be filming for clips to put in a commercial, probably to be shown in Europe.

    Who knows, though!

TBS also announced that they were filming during the Farewell 1 DVD, so I'd assume there'd be some sort of indication on the day. I would also assume it will be somewhere more glamorous, such as LA or London, as opposed to some of the smaller or less desirable places they're playing, such as Leeds in the UK (wrong side of the Pennine Hills ), purely based on marketing perspective. I can't imagine, if this is their last extensive tour, that they'll do nothing; they have a huge, loyal fanbase, and I honestly think they are one of the biggest bands of all time. Also, if some are to be believed, I'd assume Mr Frey and Mr Henley wouldn't mind the extra money in their pockets too

(It would be unspeakably awesome if in secret they've collated footage from their entire tenure, and release 7 / 8 concerts in one go. Alas I think I'm in the realms of fantasy.)
