I will be at the VIP dinner as well. I am not really familiar with with bars close by to the TD other than a couple of sports bars that are in the vicinity. Perhaps a hotel bar in the area may be a good solution?

Don't know where everyone is staying but I lived in Boston for 20 years and can tell you that your best bet for pre/post show drinks will be along Canal Street...The Fours Grille, The Sports Grille, Boston Beer Works, Grand Canal and Hurricane O'Reilly's are all within a block of the TD Garden. Have a fantastic time all!

Lots of good places to meet for pre/post show drinks along Canal Street. They'll probably all be packed but they're so close that any one of them would make sense. I'd vote for O'Reilly's if I was going. The Fours has great food, KLMEPS. We used to go to Joe Tecci's back in the day of the 'old Garden'.

Cynd- I am a native of MA and it will always be the Garden to me! Your right all those bars around the Garden will be really crowded.
