    Default Don's drumming question

    looked for a thread before I started this. If I overlooked it please move.


    Question:

    Why does Don use one drumstick backwards? Is it to get more power?

    Sent my brother a text last night when I saw this because he plays drums with a couple of bands in Boston. He said he does it for 'emphasis' -- it's more powerful and it's louder. I guess I never noticed Don doing it but it would make sense at certain points in certain songs.

    Anyone else?
